Purely Patchouli Botanical Soap Bar

The first time I smelled patchouli, I was in high school. My English teacher, Mr. Cironis, always wore this deep, musky, incense-like scent. It was bold and mysterious to my 13 year old nose. While most of the kids disliked the smell, I quietly enjoyed it. It was calming and grounding to me. This was my first aromatherapy experience.

Fast forward 20-something years, and the moment I opened a bottle of dark patchouli, I was right back in those high school hallways. Just like that, Mr. Cironis was back in my memory. Funny how a scent can time travel with you.
Patchouli is raw, earthy, and unapologetically bold. It has a reputation for dividing households—husbands and wives, mothers and daughters. You either love it or you don’t.
